Educational Workshops will be charged on the following basis from January 2025 with pricing as follows

1 class per day (1 x 35 children maximum) £320.00

2 classes per day (2 x 35 children maximum) £430.00

3 Classes per day (3 x 35 children maximum) £540.00

4 Classes per day (4 x 35 children maximum) £940.00 over 2 days

This includes mileage to and from the event, up to the first 30 miles. Over 30 miles will be calculated and an additional fee added to the daily rate.

OR

I am aware budgets and finances are becoming an issue in our current financial situation and therefore, for schools with limited financial resources, I would offer the following:-

A Half day Iron Age Workshop including all the normal talks and hands on resources/items used in a normal days booking.

There will be NO Warrior Training, cardboard shields and spear tips provided.

1 class per 1/2 day (1 x 35 children maximum) £160.00

2 classes per 1/2 day (2 x 35 children maximum) £215.00

3 Classes per 1/2 day (3 x 35 children maximum) £270.00

Plus travel as explained above.

Public Events will be charged on the following basis:-

Indoor Living History, children’s Iron Age artwork activities, hands on history displays with much that can be examined and handled.

Ideal for Museums and events with visiting public wanting activities to participate in.

£300.00 per day plus travel.

Outdoor Warrior Training and Living History displays giving the public a static display with many replica items and materials to discuss and handle.
Alongside this could be Warrior Training for children and adults teaching them the art of using a spear, sword or javelin.

Experience the Iron Age is available for hire all year round, weekdays and weekends.

Educational Activities 

Experience the Iron Age is available for hire all year round,  Key Stage days are booked in on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only.

Bookings can be arranged at short notice but I would ask that when possible the dates, arrangements and fees are agreed at least one calendar month prior to the event.
