We were so fortunate to have Matt come to our school for a whole days workshop. He arrived and set up without any involvement from me, ensuring we had time for a quick briefing before the day began and then, as soon as the children arrived, he was ready to go. The children were utterly captivated. The were engaged throughout the day and took part in so many tasks and lessons. The children became warriors, learned about hierarchies, trade, and weaponry, they got to experience furs, chainmail and grinding wheat, they learnt about roundhouses and how hill forts were built. The day was incredible. Thank you Matt, we can't wait to see you again in two years!!
